Renowned Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, widely known as Hilda Baci, made history on Monday night by setting a remarkable new Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking marathon, clocking in an astonishing 100 hours.
In the early hours of Monday, Hilda Baci surpassed the previous Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon held by Indian chef Lata Tondon. By 8:32 a.m., she had cooked for an impressive 88 hours and 32 minutes, matching Tondon’s record set in 2019 of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.
